Disability Pride Fest

A CELEBRATION OF DISABILITY CULTURE

Saturday, July 23rd from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Copeland Park.

In 2022, DAN will host our 4th annual La Crosse Area No Limits: Ability Awareness Week (also known as No Limits Week). No Limits Week showcases the abilities of people and includes informational speakers and topics related to disability. We will host virtual and live events throughout the week of July 23-30, to celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

New this year, Disability Pride Fest is a celebration of disability culture. We’ll promote inclusion, and accessibility, and highlight the value of people with disabilities in our community. There will be music, food, art, activities, fun, and resources.

THE COULEE REGION’S DISABILITY ACTION NETWORK (DAN) IS A GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION AIMED AT CREATING A MORE INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY. DAN RECOGNIZES THE IMPORTANCE OF TAKING ACTION TOWARD EQUAL ACCESS TO OPPORTUNITIES AND RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE EXCLUDED OR MARGINALIZED.
