Join us on Thursday, September 26th, for an engaging Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon featuring a “couch conversation” with J.C. Wagner-Romero from the School of Education. This event offers a unique opportunity to delve into meaningful discussions on education, identity, and the rich cultural contributions of the Hispanic community. J.C. Wagner-Romero is a distinguished educator and faculty member in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. With extensive experience in both K-12 and higher education, J.C. has dedicated his career to promoting equity and inclusion in educational settings. His work focuses on creating culturally responsive teaching practices and advocating for underserved communities. J.C. is committed to empowering future educators to become leaders in fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
